Labelprint24 puts another digital label printing system from Screen into operation

Packaging manufacturer labelprint24 is investing in another Screen Truepress Jet L350UV to keep pace with the permanent growth in orders. The new digital label printing system is connected inline to a finishing system specially developed for the production of multilayer labels and sandwich labels.

Großenhain - Just nine months after the installation of an HP Indigo WS6800, another Screen digital label printing system is going into operation at labelprint24's digital print factory in Großenhain, Saxony. The new digital label printing system is connected inline to a specially developed finishing system to reduce the complete processing of the labels, such as varnishing, die-cutting and winding, to one operation.

Two factors were decisive for the investment: on the one hand, the increasing number of orders from existing and new customers requires a renewed increase in the production capacities of the digital label factory. On the other hand, it is the many positive experiences that the packaging manufacturer has had with Screen's digital printing technology in permanently high capacity utilisation.

The new line was built specifically for the production of sandwich labels and other multilayer labels. This enables the packaging manufacturer to produce these sought-after products in any number of runs and many varieties cost-effectively and with very short delivery times. The increase in orders, especially in this segment, proves that the company invested in exactly the right place.

"The cost and time advantages that the use of the Screen Truepress Jet L350UV makes possible are unbeatable when printing short and medium label runs," says Stefan Harder, owner of harder-online GmbH, who is convinced of the new system. "Before making the final decision, we looked at various digital printing systems from other manufacturers. The second screen gives us the possibilities to deliver the same good and stable quality of labels and special solutions, such as digitally produced sandwich labels, in a very short production time."
